[/li][li] = Required Information otherwise everything else you can bullshit or just leave blank All applications should follow the following template: *SoccerJam Name: Real Name: Location: E-mail: AIM/MSN/Yahoo/Whatever (specify): *Position(s): *Why do you want to join red.card? Which division of red.card do you prefer to play with? Steam ID: I can tell you this already, just because you are skilled in SJ doesn't guarantee you a spot on the team. We look beyond the skill factor when recruiting, red.card was made to be a fun clan and it will remain so. So if you're not willing to stick with us when we lose more than we win, then don't bother applying. We don't like team hoppers and people with poor attitudes. I will repeat that a good attitude is a MUST in order to join red.card. Simple as that. ALSO: We will most likely not be replying to any of the applications, so do not bug us 24/7 about if you are about to get picked up or not. Just play like you always do and we will contact you if you do get recruited.

Dear people who apply in the team,
I really need for you to read what i am about to say and please understand everything I am stating in here. The fact that red.card is open to recruiting right now does not mean that you have a 100% chance of getting in. We seriously consider everyone who takes a bit of there time to apply and to try out for the team, but the bottom line is we cannot recruit everyone that applies for the team.
Mike is getting some heat because he as to refuse some people to join, well its not all of is fault. There are many considerations we need to take into hand before we go ahead and actually recruit someone.
- Will this person have a good chemistry with the rest of the team. - Will is style of playing match with the rest of the team. - Will is social skill reflect badly upon the teams name.
These are just a few things we are looking at before actually recruiting, but you need to remember that the fact that you can score a few goals doesn't make you instantly eligible for the team.It takes months to build a strong team and recruiting the wrong people can destroy the team in a matter of days.
If you have applied and we decided on not recruiting you at the moment, then take a few minutes and ask us what area you need to improve to get into the team. The fact that you cannot get in the team right now does not mean that you will never get in, but theres probably a few areas we want you to work on before getting another try out.
Again please do not think we are a bunch of assholes when we don't recruit you, Its better off that we let you work on these areas then recruiting you only to kick you out a few weeks later.

I know Bluck and Mike already said this, but another thing (applies a lot for me at least) is the persons attitude not just with the team, but with others in general.
There are so many ppl that are great in sj, but if your attitude is shit, I (and many of us) would definitely NOT want you for the team.
SKILL ISN'T EVERYTHING.
You are wrong if you think you got a good chance of joining us just b/c you are good. I'd rather have someone average that's fun to play with then someone who's amazing at sj, but is an asshole to others and likes to ballhog.
I mean, why else would we have gotten wonton into the team =P
